We arrived at SEA (Seattle Airport) and me and Erik took an Uber to Hyatt House in Redmond after collecting our luggage from the baggage carousel. Once we arrived at the hotel, we checked in and went to QFC nearby for water and other necessities. When we where back at the Hotel we met Mike Halsey from the France that also arrived at the Hotel, we did drink some and then all went to sleep because was a long day.

We had a pre-MVP Summit day where we heard interesting things from the Surface Team and the Windows Team, including upcoming features. We also provided feedback on future plans. In the evening, me and Erik had dinner at Woodblock with the Surface MVP Team. It was very enjoyable to meet all the Surface MVPs and people from the Surface Team whom I and Erik had often seen in Teams PGI sessions.

During the break, We went to the Microsoft Store at Building 92 and looked around, buying a few things like a USB stick and Windows 11 Pro. In the afternoon, I attended more sessions together with Erik. At the end of the day, We went to the Microsoft Store in Building 92 again, and then to a reception hosted by Azure with food and sweets. It was already late, so We took an Uber back to the hotel.

Conclusion

It was a great experience to attend the first in-person MVP Summit. I am grateful to my employer Rubicon for making this possible. I learned a lot and look forward to applying this knowledge in practice and sharing it with colleagues. I am already looking forward to the next MVP Summit in 2026 in Redmond.
